The opening is immediate and powerful. Black pepper and saffron (a rich, warm spice used in cooking across South Asia) hit first — dry, sharp, and full of heat. Lavender comes in right behind to calm things down just enough. Without it, the opening would be too aggressive. With it, it feels bold but wearable.
The heart is where the warmth builds. Cinnamon and cumin — both spices very familiar in Bangladeshi cooking — push through together, adding a deep, rich heat that feels both exotic and familiar at the same time.
