Darker, Deeper & More Refined Than 9PM
Opens with nutmeg, cardamom, and elemi — nutmeg brings a warm, slightly peppery richness, cardamom adds the familiar warm spice you know from everyday cooking, and elemi (a bright, resinous ingredient similar to frankincense) gives the opening a clean, luminous quality. This is nothing like the sweet apple-cinnamon of the original 9PM. It is spiced but sophisticated from the very first spray.
The heart is where Elixir earns its name. Leather comes through — not harsh or sharp, but soft and slightly smoky. Pimento (a spice with a mild chilli-like warmth) adds quiet heat alongside it. Lavender and lavandin (a cleaner, more herbal version of lavender) keep the heart breathing and aromatic — stopping it from feeling too dark or too heavy. The result is polished and quietly masculine.
The base is deep and long-lasting. Labdanum cistus (a warm, amber-resin ingredient used in luxury perfumery) settles in rich and golden. Patchouli adds earthy complexity underneath while vanilla smooths everything into a plush, creamy trail. This base stays on skin for 10–14 hours and clings to clothes for days.
